What our Vic Police literacy practice covers
- Four full 30-question reading papers in the section's format, each with six texts: first-person accounts, council notices, rosters and forms, newsletter articles with figures, workplace procedures and opinion pieces.
- Every question mapped to the Australian Core Skills Framework at Levels 2 to 4, with a worked explanation, the sentence in the text that proves the answer, and Sage AI coaching.
- The exam also has Summary Writing and Extended Writing tasks (typed, marked out of 20 each) and a Verbal Reasoning section. Those are separate components and are not part of this paper.
- Pass marks are published by Victoria Police for each component; a stronger literacy result strengthens your application in the same way as the numeracy component.
