Victoria Police Literacy Practice Paper 4

Victoria Police Entrance Exam literacy practice

A full-length 30-question reading paper in the format of the exam's Literacy Skills section: six texts of varying difficulty, including a notice, a roster and an article with data, with multiple-choice and yes/no statement questions. Free with a free account. Sit it timed, like the real test, or untimed in study mode.

Texts are drawn from community and everyday workplace contexts: a first-person account, a council notice, a volunteer roster, a newsletter article with figures, a customer procedure and a letter to the editor, mapped to ACSF Levels 2 to 4. The exam's Summary Writing and Extended Writing tasks are separate components and are not part of this paper.

Papers open with a free account. In study mode you see after each answer whether you were right, with the worked explanation and the evidence highlighted on Paper 1, Sage AI coaching and saved progress across devices. Pro opens and explains every paper.

How the study mode works

Each reading passage is presented alongside its questions, the way the real test groups them. Check your answer one question at a time and, with an account, the sentence in the passage that proves the answer lights up so you train the habit of going back to the text. A built-in tap dictionary defines any word, and an optional translate mode glosses sentences into your first language for ESL study.
